Is it Safe to Play Golf With My Omega Watch On?
Interesting discussion over at TimeZone, contains a little bit of everything. Physics, engineering, opinions, patents and even a little flaming, in short the perfect thread.
The answer is straightforward in my view.
Omega say it is OK and state “Omega watches are shock-resistant to 5000 g”.
So the upshot is enjoy your Golf, enjoy your Omega and enjoy them both at the same time.

Don’t know if Omegas are better than Rolex in this respect, but I made a mistake of playing a round of golf with a Rolex Sub, which went from an accuracy of +2s /day to +20-30s right after that. I wouldn’t risk it.
