What are the dimensions of this watch? Any images showing it on wrist? Thanks.

I would descibe it as large, not massive but large.
Width is 40mm and just over 42mm with crown, top to bottom is 45mm. Overall very similar dimensions to the regular Planet Ocean. Its the depth that is so stiking though, hopefully the pictures show that, the hour markers look as big as an Easter Island statue!

Sorry I’m English, we don’t do wrist shots.

Nice watch! I’m not i the market unfortunately. My dad has the exact same model in gold. He’s the original owner and still wears it everyday.

What is the asking price of this beauty?

Sold a while back I’m afraid Charles. I have something similar going up for auction shortly, a Seamaster F300 on a carbon fibre strap. I’ll post it on the site when it is on sale.

Hi Bogger,
I wonder if you could help me with some info. I’ve just picked up one of these rather fine beasties and it looks as though all it needs is a new battery. Any idea which size/ battery ID it uses? I don’t have a defunct one to use as reference for width or depth. Thanks!

I have an Omega F300. I am having a great deal of trouble buying a replacement battery for it as the original was a mercury battery. Does anyone know where I can get a original replacement battery?

I took my f300 Seamaster to my local jeweler and he replaced the battery for $15. It runs excellent.

Hello,
I don’t suppose this info is going to be much use for you now as I note the date of your enquiry is in Feb…But Peter if you still need a battery…and remember the ones you buy locally are not the correct voltage……the ones you require are not such high voltage and can be obtained in the UK from :-
shop@accutrons-uk.co.uk
The address is :-
Croyden Service Centre
50 George Street
Croyden CRO 1PD
UK.
Alan Lazarus, the watch repairer who also works from the above address can be contacted on:-
http://www.watchrepairs.co.uk
I have no affiliation with the above but have found them to be most helpful people.
Regards Robert.

Hi There,
I am just about to be the proud owner of an Omega Constellation F300 from circa 1976, I wondered whether anyone knows what the luminosity is made from on these? Could it be radium, or tritium? Or maybe luminova?
Thanks,
Steve

Your Omega watchmaker will be able to reset, tweak, manipulate or otherwise adjust the f300 so that it can run on standard 1.55V batteries.
This was done to mine a few years ago, and it runs perfectly.
Just a comment: 44 Omegas is by no means excessive. You collect watches for your amusement, not your wife’s. If you keep a few f330s, you won’t need to start them up when you feel like wearing them.
As for your annual watch battery bill, it is probably no worse than mine.

Hi, I’ve got a Omega Electronic F300 Hz, that has just given up on me. I’ve enjoyed this watch tremendously. I need to know if there is anyone who can repair it for me. It’s not the battery.
Kind regards
