OMEGA 18k Ruby Seamaster Chrono PGA Golf Pro Eagle

Monday, December 19th, 2005

They don’t come much rarer than this one off and it has a nice bit of history behind it but somebody at Omega beat it with the ugly stick!
Already north of $13,000 with still over a day to go this could break $20,000. If Elton John played golf it could go for a lot more […]

Vintage Omega Seamaster 600 - 136.011 - Caliber 611

Saturday, October 29th, 2005

Dating from the early to mid-sixties this Seamaster 600 is really a very classy example of a vintage Omega. Still surprises me just how cheap these go for, you should be able to pick a decent example up for no more than £250 with a little patience.
I normally shy away from gold plated Omega’s but […]

Vintage Omega Seamaster Calendar

What with this little cracker and the “inspired by” Aqua Terra I’ve not been able to drag myself out of the 1950’s all week.

Friday, September 16th, 2005

The Aqualung is still away, almost 2 weeks overdue from holiday. Word is the Lady Lung he met is in the family way, expect the patter of little flippers shortly.
In the meantime his cousin the Pressure Tester has agreed to fill in.
So…. What’s in the Pressure Tester This Week?
Can you guess?

Thats right, the rather wonderful […]

Omega Seamaster 300 cal. 552, 165.024 Will Not Be Flipped

Friday, August 26th, 2005

Over at TZ-UK our friend swedeone3 has bagged a very fine example of a Seamaster 300, not too sure about the dial though.
Now swedeone3 is known as somewhat of a flipper but promises that this watch is a keeper. My advice is don’t hold your breath :)
Some great pics here.
UPDATE! The flip moves ever closer, […]

Poor Mans Omega Ranchero

Friday, August 26th, 2005

No question that the Omega Ranchero CK 2990 is a GREAT looking watch, a true 50’s classic. Problem is everybody else thinks so too and they fetch a pretty penny.
So what’s a man to do….you love the look but hate the price.
How about this, a classic Seamaster 30, Caliber 268, 30 mm, 17 jewels and […]
