please help!!! im trying to sell my omega speemaster professional, and the buyer is asking me if is fisrt man on the moon or pre moon…. i dont know what\’s he talking about can someone, help me understand and to find what kind is it?

Well,

The serialnumber is 11497082 a chronometer with square buttons.

maybe it is not called a speedmaster but for sure a chronometer that has been in family for at least 40years.

Be careful of someone who says that they have a 1952 Speedmaster as they were released to production in 1957.

I’ve just decided to sell my 1963 Speedy that I’ve owned for over 20 years. I’ve got to get some digital pix of it but look at this current EBay auction; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200249716877&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=010

It’s the mirror image of it. 105.003.63 Mine is only a few serial numbers away from that one. It’s all original except for the Speidel bracelet that it had when I bought it.

If anyone is interested, I’ll take some actual pix & get them your way.
