After travelng half way around the world and coming to Australia, my wife bought me an Omega Seamaster Cosmic '166026' tool 107, as my first wedding anniversay gift in 1973. I ha staood the test of time, but started to fail about ten years ago. I was quoted over $500AU to refurbish so it was relegated to the jewlery box and replaced with a lessor brand. Behold, now in my later years I would like to refurbish it and pass it on to one of my grandchildren. any idea's of it's worth and cost to refurbish ?
Regards

Wonder if you can help, just bought a 1970 solid gold 14k, 1970 vintage watch. It has 6 small diamonds on it to. Caliber 485, case number AA7831 53340. Movement 17 jewels. I would be over the moon with an aproximate value, just want to see if my investment has paid off, i love the watch all the same. Perfect working condition with origional strap. My wedding day gift to myself, its so feminine.

Hi,
May you give me a hint, were you got the strap and how it is called. I\\\'m getting a similar omega seamaster cosmic in stainless steel and your combination really strikes me.

Hi,
Someone was asking if a Seamaster Cosmic (w date) was available in solid gold.
Yes, I have one. The case and bracelet are all solid 18k gold.
Top shape ;o)

Hi Omegablogger!

Beautiful cosmic btw. I have just received a 1960 mechanical seamaster

(reference number 14384 4 SC
movement serial 17.742.XXX )

for Christmas but the strap is the cheapest piece of rubbish I have ever seen. Can you recommend a nice leather strap to go with the watch?

Cheers and Happy New Year!

I love your stap on this watch! I have a Meister Seamaster Cosmic that my Mom bought my Grandfather in the 1960's....Serial # 135017-TOOL-107. My wife had it cleaned and repaird but the cyrstal that was put on does not quite fit and the band is a cheaper metal band.

I'd love some info on how I can get the cyrstal replaced with a nice (preferably saphire) crystal that sits flush. Also I'd love to get a band like you have on the one pictured here. Any ideas would be great!
