Michael Phelps is lame. He is such old news. Personally, I will not be supporting Speedo or Omega watches. Both of those products are also old news. Speedo? What is this? The 1984 Olympics? And Omega? Give me a break. Just because a Watch is Swiss, does not mean you have to overpay. Omega is basically a glorified Swatch. Ciao!

Only the Auto ATs have crystal backs, the quartz do not.
A question for you all, what are the hand sizes for an Omege 552 works as i need to replace some on my 69 seamaster but dont know which to order.

That is a very sharp watch, the rose gold markers really make the watch. I’m stuck between one of these and a DeVille, any recommendations?

Well, Omegablogger, I stand corrected. That second hand is genuine of course. Your photo is far better than the image on the “official” Omega website. If you check that site, you’ll see that the second is parked over a marker, with that wonderfully elegant point lost to the viewer without a magnifying glass. What a shame. Your super photo outclasses the image displayed by Omega. Oh, I have learned that the white dialed version comes only in xlarge 42.2 mm and the 39.2mm model you have. There are what they call ” Mid Size ” versions of the Aqua Terra,36.2 mm…but not with white dial. Correct me if I’m wrong, please.

Hi Edward. Mine is reference 2503.34 which makes it the 39.2, thats about the perfect size for my slightly under 7 1/2" wrist. Yes the hands are genuine, Omega have taken many elements from their older ranges with the Aqua Terra. Take a look at the hands on the first pic [a seamaster from 1960] and the hour batons on the second pic [from the late 40's early 50's].

Greetings: Very interested in Aqua Terra. This watch comes in 3 sizes of dial: 36.2. , 39.2, 42.2 mm.(1) What size is your model?? (2) Also, noticed the second hand has a slightly curved leaf like point which is different from the triangular point on the minute hand.
