The watch looks nice, but it is certainly too 'paneraish' to my taste. I mean, if one really digs the Panerai style, he or she would be better off buying a Panerai watch, plain and simple.

Omega Watch have actually been making wristwatches for well over 150 years and that is really some time before the concept of 'designer' watches that we know today existed. But that didn't stop Omega from wanting to make the best watches on the planet and it maybe true that there was a possibility that someone in Omega wanted to make the best watches not on the planet too because in 1969 Neil Armstrong took his Omega watch to surface of the Moon.So Omega can rightly boast that they have an amazing pedigree. Because of their work with NASA and other international bodies like the International Olympic Committee where Omega provided timing services, Omega developed a lot of firsts and with them came large numbers of patents making Omega one of the most innovative Watchmakers in the world.

I first saw this watch in the Bangkok airport 2 yrs ago, quite liked it but didn't buy cos I am not very much a leather strap guy. Then I saw these pictures with the bold strap, can't resist and bought this watch last week. Have also ordered a similar strap(on the way), can't wait to see how it looks on my wrist! I didn't like leather strap because I have sweaty wrist, especially during summer, but I really think this combination would look really really good!
